With a heavy heart and deep sadness, we would like to share with you that our PD of NRP-DDM part Mr. Abul Khair Md. Maruf Hasan (aged 48 yrs. 6 mths.) is no more. He was on life supports at Rajarbagh Central Police Hospital after being COVID affected since 07 April 2021.
Mr. AKM Maruf Hasan was a Deputy Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and was working at Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief (MoDMR). Mr. AKM Maruf Hasan was always very sincere and frequently visited around the country to move the NRP forward. It is obviously a great loss for the country as well as the NRP to lose him so early.
We, the NRP family are deeply saddened at his demise and pray for his eternal peace. Our deepest sympathies are with his family.

The views were expressed in a 2-day long training programme on Communication Skill Enhancement organised by National Resilience Programme (NRP) concluded on Monday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina unveiled the English version of the Standing Orders on Disaster (SOD) 2019 on 13th October. Both version, Bengali & English has been done with the support of the National Resilience Programme(NRP).
